Abstract:Intestinal ischemia reperfusion injury(IRI)is a common clinical emergency with high morbidity and mortality.Mechanistic studies of intestinal IRI have received extensive attention, and the successful construction of an animal model of intestinal IRI is the basis for basic research. The rodent animal model of clamped superior mesenteric artery is a widely used animal model of intestinal IRI.This article describes in detail the process of constructing a mice model of intestinal IRI by clamping the superior mesenteric artery and the precautions to be taken. It will help to regulate the construction of the mice model of intestinal IRI and improve the success of the model construction, thus contributing to the basic research of intestinal IRI.
