Free Calcium Oxide in Cement Burning System Based on Neutron Activation Analyzer Research on Edge Control Methods

Abstract：The content of free calcium oxide(f-CaO)in clinker is an important index for cement quality control.As this index cannot be realized in real-time detection online at present,it is difficult to establish effective closed-loop control of cement kiln system.Based on the conventional control scheme,a method is proposed to detect the raw materials of cement kiln components in real time based on neutron activation analysis,and then use neural network algorithm to build a soft measurement model of free calcium oxide.The TaiJi-MPC software is used to realize the method of edge control of gas,coal and meal in cement kiln system.This method can reduce the standard deviation fluctuation of f-CaO by about 10%,increase the content of f-CaO by more than 0.3%,and significantly improve economic and social benefits.
