Abstract:The problem of mycotoxin contamination in feed and its raw materials is becoming increasingly serious, posing a continuous threat to the economic development of the livestock industry and the health of animals. Therefore,it is of vital importance to develop green and efficient degradation technologies.Photocatalytic degradation technology boasts the advantages of being green and safe, simple and efficient,as well as low-cost,making it particularly promising for the degradation of pollutants such as mycotoxins. This article explains the principle of photocatalytic technology, summarizes the types and characteristics of common photocatalytic materials, and focuses on the research progress regarding the use of this technology to degrade mycotoxins in feed and ingredients,it examines the application challenges and future development trends of photocatalytic technology in the feed industry, with the aim of providing a reference for the rapid and safe degradation of mycotoxins in feed.
