Abstract:This experiment aimed to investigate the effects of fermented feed using marine Bacillus amyloliquefaciens SS-ZC-26 on the growth performance, immunity and digestive enzyme activities of Litopenaeus vannamei.A total of 300 healthy Litopenaeus vannamei with an initial weight of approximately 0.06 g each were selected and randomly divided into four groups, with three replicates per group and 25 shrimps per replicate. The control group was fed with the basic feed, while the experimental groups were respectively fed with the test feed containing 30%,60%and 100%of the fermented feed. The pre-test period was 14 days, and the formal test period was 56 days. The results showed that compared with the feed before fermentation, the concentrations of crude protein and acid-soluble protein in the fermented feed,as well as the concentrations of 14 kinds of amino acids including lysine significantly increased(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the weight gain rate and specific growth rate of all the experimental groups showed an upward trend, while the feed conversion ratio showed a downward trend. The activities of catalase(CAT),superoxide dismutase(SOD),and acid phosphatase(ACP)in the liver and pancreas of all the experimental groups were significantly increased(P<0.05).The activities of trypsin(TRY)and amylase(AMS)in the liver and intestine of the 100%group were significantly increased(P<0.05),and the activity of lipase(LPS)in the 30%group was significantly increased(P<0.05).The study indicates that fermented feed with marine Bacillus amyloliquefaciens SS-ZC-26 can fully replace the basal diet, improving the growth performance,non-specific immunity, and digestive enzyme activities of Litopenaeus vannamei.
