Abstract:The experiment aims to explore the optimal fermentation process for inhibiting Aeromonas hydrophila through the fermented Hedera nepalensis K.Koch var.sinensis(Tobler)Rehd.Based on single-factor experiments, the antibacterial rate against Aeromonas hydrophila was used as the evaluation index.Response surface methodology was employed to optimize the fermentation process, including fermentation time, inoculation amount, and fermentation temperature. The optimal fermentation conditions were determined. The results showed that the optimal process parameters were fermentation time of 5 days, inoculation amount of 8%,and fermentation temperature of 35 ℃.Under this condition, the inhibition rate of Aeromonas hydrophila by the fermentation Hedera nepalensis K.Koch var.sinensis(Tobler)Rehd.could reach 84.86%.The study indicates that fermented Hedera nepalensis K.Koch var.sinensis(Tobler)Rehd.exhibits significant antibacterial activity against Aeromonas hydrophila, indicating its potential as an aquatic feed additive.
