Abstract:This study aimed to investigate the effects of fermented feed on the growth performance, intestinal microbiota, digestive, and immune function of Litopenaeus vannamei. The trial was divided into six groups, each with three replicates containing 1 000 shrimp per replicate.Fermented feed was used to replace basic feed at ratios of 10%(W1 group),20%(W2 group),30%(W3 group),40%(W4 group),and 50%(W5 group),while the control group(W0 group)was fed a basic feed. The experiment lasted 60 days. Results showed that except for the W3 group, body length, body weight, specific growth rate, and weight gain rate in all experimental groups were higher than those in the W0 group. The lipase(LPS)and amylase(AMS)activities in the W5 group were significantly higher than in W0 group(P<0.05).Trypsin(TPS)activity in all groups except W2 group was significantly higher than in the W0 group(P<0.05),while pepsin(Pep)activity in all groups except W5 group was significantly higher than in the W0 group(P<0.05).Acid phosphatase(ACP)and alkaline phosphatase(AKP)activities in W3,W4,and W5 groups were significantly higher than in the W0 group(P<0.05).Catalase(CAT)activity in W2 and W5 groups was significantly higher than in the W0 group(P<0.05).Lysozyme(LZM)activity in all experimental groups was significantly lower than in the W0 group(P<0.05),while total superoxide dismutase(T-SOD)activity in W3 group was significantly higher than in the W0 group(P<0.05).Compared to the W0 group, the intestinal wall thickness and goblet cell density in the villus layer increased in the experimental groups, with connective tissue cells arranged more densely. At the phylum level, the relative abundance of Proteobacteria increased in W2 and W5 groups, while Planctomycetota increased in W3 and W4 groups. At the genus level, the relative abundance of unclassified_f_Rhodobacteraceae increased in W1 and W2 groups,Haloferula in the W3 group,Robiginitalea in W5 group, and Motilimonas in all experimental groups. The study shows that fermented feed can improve shrimp growth performance, enhance digestive and immune capacity, modulate intestinal structure and microbiota, and achieve optimal aquaculture effects at a 50%substitution rate.
