Abstract:This experiment aimed to investigate the effects of soybean low-abundance protein on the growth performance and intestinal microbiota of weaned mice.A total of 180 weaned male ICR mice at 21 days of age were selected and randomly divided into five groups, with three replicates per group and 12 mice per replicate. They were administered by gavage with 200 μL of soybean low-abundance protein extract solution containing 0(control group),0.5(group D0.5mg),1.0(group D1.0mg),2.0(group D2.0mg),and 4.0 mg(group D4.0mg)protein everyday. The pre-test period was seven days, and the formal test period was 28 days. The results showed that the final weight of mice in each experimental group was higher than that in the control group. The final weight of mice in the group D2.0mg was extremely higher than that in the control group(P<0.01),and significantly higher than that in other experimental groups(P<0.05).The average daily weight gain of mice in the group D2.0mg was extremely higher than that in the control group and the group D0.5mg(P<0.01),the average daily feed intake was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the body weight gain was extremely higher than that in the control group, group D0.5mg(P<0.01).The relative abundance of intestinal Actinobacteria and Tenericutes in the group D2.0mg was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The relative abundance of Escherichia-Shigella in the group D0.5mg was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The study indicates that gavage of soybean low-abundance protein extract can regulate the composition of the intestinal flora in mice and promote their growth, with an optimal additive dosage of 2.0 mg/d.
