Abstract:The experiment aimed to investigate the effects of dietary supplementation with lysophosphatidylcholine(LPC)in low-fat diets on the growth performance, serum biochemical indicators, liver morphology, and intestinal health of Micropterus salmoides.A total of 270 Micropterus salmoides with an initial body weight of(44.51±0.36)g were randomly divided into three groups, with three replicates per group, and 30 fish per replicate. The control group was fed a basal diet containing 12.05%crude fat, group LL1 was fed a diet of 11.55%crude fat supplemented with 0.05%LPC,and group LL2 was fed a diet of 11.05%crude fat supplemented with 0.10%LPC.The pre-test period was 14 days and the formal test period was 56 days. The results showed that compared with the control group, the weight gain rate(WGR)was significantly increased(P<0.05)and the hepatosomatic index(HSI)was significantly decreased(P<0.05)in both groups LL1 and LL2.The feed conversion ratio(FCR)was significantly reduced in group LL1(P<0.05),while group LL2 showed an increasing trend without significance(P>0.05).Serum total cholesterol(TC)content was significantly lower in group LL2(P<0.05),and serum triglyceride(TG)content was significantly reduced in both groups LL1 and LL2(P<0.05).High-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)content was significantly increased in group LL1(P<0.05),while group LL2 showed an increasing trend without significance(P>0.05).The α-amylase activity was significantly higher in group LL2 than in the control group(P<0.05).Villus height(VH)in the intestine was significantly improved in both groups LL1 and LL2(P<0.05),and the number and size of hepatic vacuoles and the number of nuclei were significantly improved. The study indicates that supplementing LPC in reduced-fat diets effectively promotes growth, improves lipid metabolism and intestinal morphology, and reduces hepatic fat accumulation in Micropterus salmoides.Among them, adding 0.10%LPC while reducing fat levels by 1.00%has the best effect.
