Abstract:The experiment aimed to investigate the effects of fermented soybean meal replacing fish meal protein on the growth performance, antioxidant function, and rapamycin target protein(mTOR)signaling pathway of Litopenaeus vannamei.A total of 360 juvenile Litopenaeus vannamei with an initial weight of(1.18±0.13)g were randomly divided into four groups, with three replicates per group and 30 shrimps per replicate. The control group(CON group)was fed with basic feed, while the experimental groups were fed the experiment feed with fermented soybean meal as a substitute for 10%(FSM10 group),20%(FSM20 group),and 30%(FSM30 group)fish meal protein, respectively. The pre-test period was two weeks, and the formal test period was eight weeks. The results showed that the weight gain rate, specific growth rate, and protein efficiency of the FSM20 group were significantly higher than those of the FSM30 group(P<0.05),and the feed coefficient was significantly lower than that of the FSM30 group(P<0.05).The crude protein content of the muscle in the FSM10 group of juvenile shrimp was significantly higher than that of the FSM30 group(P<0.05).As the proportion of fermented soybean meal replacing fish meal increased, the expression levels of genes related to the mTOR signaling pathway showed a trend of first rising and then falling. The activity of aspartate aminotransferase in the FSM30 group was significantly higher than that of the CON group and FSM20 group(P<0.05).As the proportion of fermented soybean meal replacing fish meal increased, the expression levels of mTOR signaling pathway related genes showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing.Compared with the FSM30 group, the expression levels of mtor, eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E-2(eif4e2)in the FSM10 group and mtor, ribosomal protein S6 kinase 1(s6k),and eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E-1a(eif4e1a)genes in the FSM20 group were significantly increased(P<0.05).The study indicates that when fermented soybean meal replaces 30%fish meal protein in feed,it has no significant negative effect on the growth performance of Litopaeneaus vannamei, but it reduces the antioxidant capacity and liver health level of juvenile shrimp, and inhibits the mTOR signaling pathway.
