Abstract:The experiment aimed to investigate the effects of adding Clostridium butyricum and Lactobacillus to the diet on the growth performance, immunity, and intestinal microbial community structure of Micropterus salmoides.A total of 210(4.57±1.12)g Micropterus salmoides juveniles were randomly divided into five groups, with three replicates per group and 14 fish per replicate.Group D0 was fed with the basic diet, groups D1,D2,D3 and D4 were supplemented with 2.0%Clostridium butyricum,1.0%Lactobacillus,1.0%Clostridium butyricum+0.5%Lactobacillus,and 2.0%Clostridium butyricum+1.0%Lactobacillus in the basic diet, respectively. The pre-test period was seven days and the formal test period was 60 days. The results showed that compared with group D0,the final weight, final body length, weight gain rate, specific growth rate, viscerosomatic index, hepatopancreas somatic index, and intestinesomatic index in group D4 were significantly increased(P<0.05).The activities of protease, lipase, and amylase in group D4 were significantly higher than those in other groups(P<0.05),the concentrations of total protein and uric acid were significantly higher than those in group D0(P<0.05),and the activity of glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase was significantly lower than those in other groups(P<0.05).The activities of alkaline phosphatase and acid phosphatase in groups D3 and D4 were significantly higher than those in other groups(P<0.05),the activity of total nitric oxide synthase in groups D2 and D4 was significantly higher than those in other groups(P<0.05),and the activity of hydrogen peroxide in group D4 was significantly higher than those in other groups(P<0.05).The malonaldehyde content in groups D3 and D4 was significantly lower than that in other groups(P<0.05),and the total antioxidant capacity was significantly higher than that in other groups(P<0.05).The intestinal villus length,OTUs number,Ace index and Chaol index in group D4 were significantly increased(P<0.05).The relative abundance of Proteus and Acinetobacter were the highest in group D4,and the relative abundance of Firmicutes was the highest in group D3.The study indicates that adding 2.0%Clostridium butyricum and 1.0%Lactobacillus can effectively promote growth, enhance immune function, and regulate the intestinal health of Micropterus salmoides.
