Abstract:The experiment aimed to investigate the effects of sorghum distillers grains with solubles on the growth performance, blood routine, serum biochemical indexes, and organ index of meat ducks.A total of 192 fifteen-day-old Sansui ducks were randomly divided into four groups, with three replicates in each group and 16 ducks in each replicate. The control group was fed with the basal diet, and the low-level group,medium-level group, and high-level group were replaced with 10%,25%,and 50%SDGS in the basal diet, respectively. The pre-test period was seven days, and the formal test period was 35 days. The results showed that the average daily weight gain in the high-level group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05),the feed-to-gain ratio was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the average hemoglobin level was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The average hemoglobin concentration in the medium-level and high-level groups was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the urea nitrogen content was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The gastric index in the high-level group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The study indicates that replacing part of the basal diet with SDGS has no negative impact on the organ index of meat ducks.Appropriate addition can promote the growth and development of meat ducks, improve blood routine and serum biochemical indicators. The effect is better when the addition amount is 10%.
