Abstract:The experiment aimed to explore the repair effect of seaweed polysaccharide in feed on intestinal and liver injury of Micropterus salmoides caused by unconventional protein source replacing fish meal.A total of 600 Micropterus salmoides weighing approximately 27.57 g were randomly divided into five groups, with three replicates in each group, and 40 fish in each replicate. The control group(FM group)was fed with the basal diet. The HFPN group used hydrolyzed feather meal to replace fish meal in the basal diet, and the HFP group used hydrolyzed feather meal to replace fish meal in the basal diet+0.1%seaweed polysaccharide. The SEPN group used soybean enzymolytic protein to replace fish meal in the basal diet, and the SEP group used soybean enzymolytic protein to replace fish meal in the basal diet+0.1%seaweed polysaccharide. The diets of all groups were ensured to be isonitrogenous and isoenergetic. The experimental period was eight weeks. The results showed that compared with the FM group, the activity of aspartate aminotransferase in the HFPN and SEPN groups was significantly increased(P<0.05),and the intestinal structure was damaged.Compared with the HFPN group, the crude ash content of the whole fish and the muscle water content in the HFP group were significantly increased(P<0.05),the total cholesterol content in the serum of the HFP group was significantly increased(P<0.05),and the activity of aspartate aminotransferase was significantly decreased(P<0.05).The thickness of the submucosa in the HFP group was significantly decreased(P<0.05).Compared with the SEPN group, the crude fat content in the muscle of the SEP group was significantly decreased(P<0.05),the total cholesterol and albumin concentrations in the serum of the SEP group were significantly decreased(P<0.05),and the triglyceride content and the activity of alanine aminotransferase were significantly increased(P<0.05).The thickness of the muscle layer in the SEP group was significantly increased(P<0.05),and the number of intestinal folds was significantly decreased(P<0.05).The study indicates that adding 0.1%seaweed polysaccharides to the feed can alleviate the intestinal and liver damage caused by unconventional proteins in Micropterus salmoides, and improve the nutritional components of the fish body.
