Abstract:The experiment aimed to investigate the effects of different ratios of amylose and amylopectin on the growth performance, slaughter performance, organ index, meat quality, serum immunity, and antioxidant indexes of meat rabbits.A total of 200 healthy rabbits of similar weight at 35 days of age, were randomly divided into five groups, with 40 replicates in each group and one rabbit per replicate.By adjusting the amylose and amylopectin ratios of five groups of feed with ordinary corn and waxy corn to 0.35,0.25,0.16,0.05,and 0,corresponding to groups A,B,C,D,and E respectively.Corn was used as the sole starch source, and equal energy and nitrogen diets were prepared. The pre test period was seven days, and the formal test period was 28 days. The results showed that the feed to gain ratio(F/G)of group A meat rabbits was significantly higher than that of the other groups(P<0.05),and the group C meat rabbits have the lowest F/G.The immunoglobulin A(IgA)content in group C was significantly higher than that in groups A and B(P<0.05).The study shows that when the ratio of amylose to amylopectin is 0.16,it can enhance the growth performance and immunity of meat rabbits.
