Abstract:The study aimed to investigate the effects of mixing different types of feed raw with Sorghumn bicolor×S.sudanense on silage quality and aerobic stability.Feed raw including elephant grass(X),corn stover(Y),feed ramie(M),Sophora davidii(B),Dolichs lablab(L),and alfalfa(Z)were mixed with Sorghumn bicolor×S.sudanense(G)in a 30∶70 ratio and labeled as GX,GY,GM,GB,GL,and GZ,respectively.Sorghumn bicolor×S.sudanense silage alone served as the control(CK).All samples were ensiled for 60 days. The results showed that after 60 days of ensilage, except for the GM treatment, the dry matter(DM)content of the mixed silage was significantly higher than that of CK(P<0.05).Except for the GY and GX treatments, the crude protein(CP)content of other treatments was significantly higher than that of CK(P<0.05).The pH values of silage mixed with legume forages(GL,GZ,and GB)were below 4.2.After aerobic exposure, the aerobic stability of GY,GL,and GZ treatments was the best, followed by GX and GB treatments.Based on the membership function method, the comprehensive value was ranked as follows:GB>GZ>GY>GL>GX>GM>CK.The study concluded that mixing Sorghumn bicolor×S.sudanense with feed ramie had a poor effect on improving silage quality, while mixing with other forages significantly improved both silage quality and aerobic stability.
