Abstract:The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of compound probiotics on the production performance and fat deposition of Hyline brown laying hens in the late laying period,in order to provide reference for the application of compound probiotics in laying hens.A total of one hundred and eighty 500-day-old Hyline brown laying hens were randomly divided into two groups, with six replicates in each group and 15 hens in each replicate. The control group was fed a basal diet, and the experimental group supplemented with 0.75%compound probiotic preparation. The experiment lasted for 120 days(divided into two periods of 60 days each). The results showed that compared with the control group, dietary compound probiotics significantly decreased the rate of egg malformation in the second stage(P<0.05),significantly increased eggshell strength(P<0.05),delayed ovarian decline, significantly decreased abdominal fat deposition(P<0.05),and significantly increased the villus height and the ratio of pile-to-crypt in jejunum(P<0.05).The results show that dietary supplementation of complex probiotics can reduce abdominal fat deposition and delay ovarian decline of laying hens in the late laying period, thus improving laying rate and egg quality.
