Abstract:The experiment aimed to investigate the effects of bacterial enzyme preparation on the growth performance, nutrient apparent digestibility, and serum biochemical indicators of weaned Aohu sheep.A total of 72 female lambs with similar body weights(around 50 days old and weaned)were randomly divided into four groups, with three replicates in each group and six sheep in each replicate. The control group was fed a basal diet, group 1 was fed a basic diet+0.15%bacterial enzyme preparation, group 2 was fed a basic diet+0.30%bacterial enzyme preparation, group 3 was fed a basic diet+0.45%bacterial enzyme preparation. The trial period lasted for 60 days. The results showed that the final weight and average daily weight gain of sheep in groups 2 and 3 were significantly higher than those in group 1 and the control group(P<0.05).The apparent digestibility of neutral detergent fiber(NDF)and acid detergent fiber(ADF)in the test groups were significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The serum total protein content in the test groups was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),while the serum total cholesterol content was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total antioxidant capacity and the concent of serum interleukin-4 were significantly higher in the test groups compared to the control group(P<0.05).The study indicates that the addition of 0.30%bacterial enzyme preparation to the diet can improve the growth performance, apparent digestibility of nutrients, serum biochemical indexes, immunity and antioxidant capacity of mutton sheep.
