Abstract:The experiment was to investigate the effect of different fungal cultures(yeast culture and Aspergillus oryzae culture)on feed intake, milk yield and fecal screening data of Holstein dairy cows during lactation under heat stress.A total of 120 Holstein cows with similar milk yield, parity and lactation days were randomly divided into three groups with four replicates in each group and 10 cows in each replicate. The cows in control group were fed with basal diet, cows in test group 1 were supplemented with 100 g/(head·d)yeast culture, and cows in test group 2 were supplemented with 100 g/(head·d)Aspergillus oryzae culture. The results showed that the temperature and humidity index of dairy cows was always greater than 72,indicating that dairy cows were in different degrees of heat stress.Compared with control group, the average daily feed intake of cows in group 1 and group 2 was increased by 3.08%and 2.31%,and milk production was increased by 7.15%and 5.91%,respectively(P<0.05).Compared with earlier period, the proportion of the upper sieve in control group increased significantly in later period of experiment, and the proportion in group 1 and group 2 decreased slightly. The experiment indicates that feeding Aspergillus oryzae culture and yeast culture can significantly improve feed intake and feed utilization of lactating cows, and thus improve the production performance of dairy cows.
