Research progress of traditional Chinese medicine formulas in the treatment of depression

Abstract：Depression has caused great harm to people's physical and mental health. The existing western antidepressants can not meet the needs of all patients. The role of traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions and medicines in the treatment of depression has aroused widespread concern. This article summarizes several currently used traditional Chinese medicine formulas and reviews their clinical efficacy and mechanism of action.
