Meta-analysis of wuling capsule as synergist for deanxit on post stroke depression
Abstract：Objective To systematically assess the efficacy and safety of wuling capsul as synergist for deanxit on post stroke depression (PSD) .Methods The randomized controlled trial(RCT ) of wuling capsule as synergist for deanxit on PSD were retrieved systematically in PubMed ,Cochrane Li-brary ,Wanfang ,CNKI ,EMbase and Web of Science databases .The deadline was seted by February 2016 . Two reviewers screened the literature and data extraction according to preset criteria independently .RevMan 5 .2 was used to do meta - analysis .Results Totally ,eleven RCTs were included . Meta - analysis showed that ,compared with the single - use deanxit ,wuling capsule with deanxit could better able to reduce depression score (SM D = - 1 .72 ,95% CI = - 2 .08- - 1 .36 ,P < 0 .01) and neuro-logical deficit score (SM D = - 1 .27 ,95% CI = - 1 .80- - 0 .74 ,P < 0 .01) ,to get a higher total efficien-cy (RR = 1 .12 ,95% CI = 1 .05 - 1 .19 ,P < 0 .01) and fewer adverse reactions (RR = 0 .54 ,95% CI =0.35 - 0 .83 ,P < 0 .01) .Conclusions Wuling capulse as a synergist can significantly improve the efficacy of deanxit on treating PSD and better security .
