A survey of depression in patients with recovered schizophrenia discharged from hospital
Abstract：Objective To investigate the status of depression and related risk factors in recovered schizophrenia patients discharged from hospital .Methods Compared with the normal controls (control group) ,totally 86 schizophrenia patients (research group) that had been recovered were selected and e‐valuated by SDS .The factors related with depression were analysed .Results The SDS score of the re‐search group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0 .01) .The incidence rate of the research group was higher than that of control group (P < 0 .01) .The reasons of depression were related to the family's economy ,the side effect of the antipsychotic and poor marital status .Conclusions The recov‐ered schizophrenia patients are susceptible to be depression .The family's economy ,marriage and side effect of the antipsychotic are important factors .
