Sensory characteristics of children with autism spectrum disorder

Abstract：Objective Using Chinese version of children sensory profile to study the sensory char-acteristics of children with autism.Methods Totals of 66 cases of children with autism and 66 healthy development of children were assessed by Chinese version of children sensory profile , performed by guardian. Analysising the differences in terms of feeling between autism and healthy children. Results The children with autism in other parts and full scale scores were statistically significant with healthy children in addition to feeling analysis scale F (oral sensory processing) and Ⅰ (movement regula-ting influencing the activity level).Conclusions Autism children in all kinds of feeling characteristics ex-ist a certain differences with the healthy development of children in addition to oral sensory processing and movement regulating influencing the activity level.Chinese version of children sensory profile has a certain flair to distinguish between autism children and healthy development of children.
