Meta-analysis of Chinese literature on the treatment of acute cerebral infarction by intravenous thromboly-sis with recombinant tissue -type plasminogen activator

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of recombinant tissue -type plas‐minogen activator (rt-PA) in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction (ACI) .Methods The CNKI , CBMdise and Wanfang Database (all till Mar ,2015) were retrieved by computer to collect randomized controlled trials(RCTs) of rt -PA in the treatment of ACI .Two reviewers independently retrieved and evaluated literature quality .The RevMan 5 .2 software was used for Meta -analysis .Results Eight RCTs were included in the study ,248 cases in the treatment group (using rt-PA) and 298 cases in the control group (using conventional therapy) .Meta-analysis showed that there were significant difference in the NIHSS score ,ADL score and risk of bleeding between the treatment group and control group (P < 0 .05) .Conclusions The Meta-analysis results from databases indicate that rt -PA can improve the neurological function ,the activities of daily living and increase the risk of bleeding in ACI .
