Research of cohesion and adaptability with family members and sleep in depression suicide
Abstract:Objective To campare the differences on cohesion and adaptability with family mem‐bers and sleep between suicidal and non-suicidal patients with depression ,to study the relationship be‐tween them .Methods General information questionnaire ,HAMD ,SIOSS ,FACESII -CV and PSQI were used to measure in 82 patients with depression who were under the treatment and willing to obser‐vation in the hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People'Hospital .Results There are signif‐icant difference on the total sleep scores between suicidal 16 .0(13 .0 ,18 .0) and non -suicidal patients with depression 13 .0(10 .0 ,16 .0) (P< 0 .05);the scores of family cohesion (58 .04 ± 12 .81) and family adaptability (39 .29 ± 8 .74) of suicidal patients were evidently lower than those of the non-suicidal pa‐tients [(70 .73 ± 9 .67) ,(47 .50 ± 7 .27) ,P < 0 .05];the cohesion and adaptability with family members negatively correlated with sleep (P < 0 .05) .Conclusions It is indicated that the suicidal patients suffer less cohesion and adaptability with family members ,worse sleep quality ,less sleeping time and take hyp‐notic medicine more frequently than the non-suicide with depression .Furthermore ,patients with less cohesion and adaptability with family members experience unsatisfactory sleep .
