Research on the tetraethylammonium inhibit the proliferation of glioma cells
Abstract：Objective To study wheather tetraethylammonium (TEA) could inhibit the proliferation of rat glioma cells in vitro ,and investigate the role of inhibiting the proliferation of glioma cells .Methods Effect of TEA on the growth of glioma cells was observed by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT ) method . Results MTT results showed that TEA could inhibit the growth of glioma cells ,furthermore ,time and dose were dependent .Conclusions TEA can significantly inhibit the growth of C6 and 9L glioma cells line in vitro ,the mechanism may be related with cell apoptosis .
