Abstract:Esophageal cancer, one of the most common tumors in the world, has a high incidence and mortality, which is mostly in the middle and late stages when it is found,so it is still challenging to achieve effective treatment.Currently, neoadjuvant therapy strategies, including chemotherapy,radiotherapy,molec-ular targeting, immunotherapy and their combinations, have been widely recognized in clinical value, but the selection of different regimens is controversial.Based on relevant literature, this paper summarizes the re-search status and progress of neoadjuvant therapy for esophageal cancer, and analyzes its application prospects and existing problems,so as to provide references for further optimization of clinical diagnosis and treatment strategies.
