Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of personalized diet management combined with pain management in postoperative esophageal cancer patients. Methods Total of 90 postoperative esopha-geal cancer patients admitted to Tanghe County People's Hospital were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 45 cases in each group. The control group received routine care, and the obser-vation group received personalized diet management combined with standardized pain management. The effects of the interventions on pain level, sleep quality, and nutritional status of the patients before and after the inter-vention were compared between the two groups. Results Before the intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in the baseline pain level, sleep quality, and nutritional status between the two groups(P>0.05).The VAS scores of the observation group at 12 hours,1 day,and 7 days after surgery were signifi-cantly lower than those of the control group. The PSQI score of the observation group at 7 days after surgery was also significantly lower than that of the control group. After 3 months of intervention, the nutritional status improvement in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(serum albumin[(38.50±4.75)VS(32.02±3.56),t= 3.514,P<0.001],serum transferrin[(3.79±0.59)VS(3.33±0.63),t=2.755,P=0.012].Conclusion Personalized diet management combined with standardized pain management can effectively improve the pain level, sleep quality, and nutritional status of postoperative esoph-ageal cancer patients, thereby improving their quality of life and long-term prognosis after surgery.
