Abstract:Objective To explore the diagnostic values of serum gastrin 17,pepsinogen Ⅰ,pepsinogen Ⅱ,and dopamine in gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD).Methods 100 GERD patients admitted to our hospital from March 2022 to March 2023 were selected, and 50 healthy individuals who underwent physi-cal examinations during the same period were selected as the control group.According to the DeMeester score,100 GERD patients were divided into 3 groups:mild group(14~50 points,34 cases),moderate group(51-100 points,48 cases),and severe group(>100 points,18 cases).Enzyme linked immunosor-bent assay(ELISA)was used to determine serum levels of gastrin 17,pepsinogen I,pepsinogen Ⅱ,and do-pamine.Results Compared with the control group, the serum levels of gastrin 17 and pepsinogen Ⅰ in the GERD group were significantly increased(P<0.05),while the serum levels of pepsinogen Ⅱ and dopamine were significantly reduced(P<0.05).Compared with mild group patients, the serum levels of gastrin 17 and pepsinogen Ⅰ were significantly increased in the moderate group(P<0.05),while the levels of pepsinogen Ⅱ and dopamine were significantly reduced(P<0.05).Compared with patients in the moderate group, the serum levels of gastrin 17 and pepsinogen Ⅰ were significantly increased in the severe group(P<0.05),while the levels of pepsinogen Ⅱ and dopamine were significantly reduced(P<0.05).The serum levels of gastrin 17 and pepsinogen Ⅰ in GERD patients were significantly positively correlated with DeMeester score(P<0.05),while the serum levels of pepsinogen Ⅱ and dopamine were significantly negatively correlated with DeMeester score(P<0.05).The area under curve(AUC)for the combined diagnosis of GERD with serum gastrin 17,pepsinogen Ⅰ,pepsinogen Ⅱ,and dopamine is 0.986,with a sensitivity of 88.00%,specificity of 98.00%,and a 95%CI of 0.972 5~0.998 7,which is higher than the diagnostic efficacy of any individual indicator. Conclusion The levels of serum gastrin 17 and pepsinogen Ⅰ were positively correlated with the course of GERD,while the levels of pepsino-gen Ⅱ and dopamine were negatively correlated with the course of GERD.The combined detection of the a-bove 4 indicators had high sensitivity and specificity for the diagnosis of GERD,and is expected to become a new auxiliary diagnosis method for GERD.
