Abstract:Gastrointestinal tumors represent one of the most common malignant tumors worldwide, with their develop-ment,progression,and pesticide tolerance closely associated with alterations in the tumor microenvironment.Currently, conventional cell and animal models are unable to accurately capture the complexity and heterogeneity of tumors.Three-di-mensional(3D)bioprinting technology,an emerging biomanufacturing technology, holds significant potential for investi-gating tumorigenesis mechanisms. There are four main types of 3D bioprinting technology:inkjet bioprinting, extrusion bioprinting,laser-assisted bioprinting, and photo-curing bioprinting. This technology enables the construction of models for gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, and colorectal cancer liver metastasis through various approaches. It is widely ap-plied in simulating the tumor microenvironment, drug screening, personalized treatment, and studies on tumor metastasis mechanisms.
