Abstract:Objective To observe the application effect of integrated medical and nursing care based on risk assess-ment in the perioperative period of patients with moyamoya disease(MMD).Methods Totally 84 MMD patients who un-derwent elective revascularization were randomly divided into the control group and observation group, with 42 cases in each group.Patients in the control group received routine perioperative care, while patients in the observation group received in-tegrated medical and nursing care based on risk assessment. The Short Version of the Stroke-Specific Quality of Life Scale(SV-SS-QoL)was used to evaluate patients'quality of life before intervention and 3 months after intervention(intervention),and the self-perceived burden scale(SPBS)was used to assess patients'self-perceived disease burden.Perioperative com-fort scale(PCS)was used to assess patient comfort, and nursing risk events during the perioperative period were recorded in both groups. Results After the intervention, all SV-SS QoL scores in both groups were higher than those before the inter-vention,while all SPBS scores and PCS scores were lower than those before the intervention(all P<0.05).Additionally,all SV-SS QoL scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, while all SPBS scores and PCS scores were lower than those in the control group(all P<0.05).In the control group, there were 2 cases of aspiration,3 cases of hy-potension,1 case of hypothermia, and 2 cases of venous thrombosis. The incidence of nursing risk events was 19.05%;one case of hypotension occurred in the observation group, and the incidence of nursing risk events was 2.38%.The incidence of nursing risk events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion During the perioperative period,MMD patients receiving integrated medical and nursing care based on risk assessment can effec-tively improve their quality of life, comfort, and reduce their self-perceived disease burden and nursing risks.
