Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of tumor resection after radiofrequency ablation of hepatic hemangioma under laparoscopy. Methods According to different surgical methods,42 patients with hepatic hemangioma who under-went surgical treatment were divided into Group A(19 patients)and Group B(23 patients).Patients in the Group A re-ceived laparoscopic radiofrequency ablation of hepatic hemangioma followed by tumor resection, and patients in the Group B received laparoscopic hepatic hemangioma resection surgery.Surgery-related indicators and laboratory test indicators of the two groups were collected and compared. The patients'complications were observed on the 15-day and at 6-month fol-low-up.Surgery-related indicators included tumor diameter, operation time, intraoperative blood loss, and postoperative hospital stay, etc. The laboratory test indicators included alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),total bilirubin(TBiL),direct bilirubin(DBiL),indirect bilirubin(IBiL),creatinine(Cr),and hemoglobin(Hb),etc.preoperatively,on the first postoperative day,and on the third postoperative day. Results The operating time and intraoperative blood loss of patients in the Group A were lower than those in the Group B(both P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in laboratory test indicators such as ALT,AST,TBiL,DBiL,IBiL,Cr,or Hb between the two groups before surgery,on the first postoperative day,and on the third postoperative day(all P>0.05).One patient in the Group A developed liver abscess after surgery, and two patients in the Group B developed hypoprotein-emia after surgery. There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Compared with laparoscopic hepatic hemangioma resection, tumor resection after laparo-scopic radiofrequency ablation of hepatic hemangioma has comparable efficacy in treating hepatic hemangioma, but it can shorten the operation time and reduce the amount of intraoperative blood loss.
