Abstract:Objective To study the feasibility and security to be pregnant after the treatment for breast cancer in the young breast cancer patients. Methods A retrospective review was conducted on a breast cancer patient admitted in 2022,who successfully became pregnant and gave birth after completing breast cancer treatment. Her ovulation induction protocol and the process of assisted pregnancy were analyzed. Results The patient underwent IVF-ET with letrozole stim-ulation protocol, and one oocyte was obtained, but not fertilized, then the cycle was canceled. In the luteal phase ovula-tion induction plan,we adopted the dual stimulation protocol;five oocytes were retrieved, among which four were normally fertilized and one was abnormally fertilized. Finally, two high-quality day 3(D3)embryos were obtained and all embryos were cryopreserved.Subsequently,a natural cycle protocol was used for frozen embryo transfer(FET)to assist with preg-nancy.Clinical pregnancy was achieved after transferring one high-quality D3 embryo. The patient had no pregnancy com-plications or complications during pregnancy, and a male infant was delivered by cesarean section at term at 39 weeks of gestation. The fetal birth Aparg score was 10 points at 1 and 10 minutes. The follow-up showed that the patient was dis-ease-free and the infant developed normally. Conclusion The pregnancy and childbirth after breast cancer do not signifi-cantly affect the patients'survival time and no adverse effects on fetal outcomes have been observed.
