Abstract:Objective To investigate the predictive value of serum complement 1q/tumor necrosis factor-related pro-tein 3(CTRP3)and C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 14(CXCL14)levels for postoperative recurrence of endometriosis(EM).Methods Totally 132 EM patients who underwent surgical treatment(EM group)and 76 healthy women with physical examination during the same period(control group)were selected, and the EM patients were divided into the re-currence group(52 cases)and the non-recurrence group(80 cases)according to whether they had recurrence after surgery or not.Serum CTRP3 and CXCL14 levels were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. We collected the relat-ed data in the EM group. The effects of serum CTRP3 and CXCL14 on postoperative recurrence in EM patients were ana-lyzed by Univariate analysis and Multivariate Logistic regression analysis. The predictive value of serum CTRP3 and CX-CL14 levels on postoperative recurrence in EM patients was analyzed using the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve. Results The serum levels of CTRP3 and CXCL14 in the EM group were lower than those in the control group(all P<0.05).Increased age, increased EM fertility index score, increased CTRP3,and increased CXCL14 were independent protective factors for postoperative recurrence in EM patients(all P<0.05),and ASRM stage Ⅲ-Ⅲ was an independent risk factor(P<0.05).The area under the curve of serum CTRP3 and CXCL14 levels in predicting the postoperative recur-rence in EM patients was 0.855,which was greater than that of serum CTRP3 and CXCL14 levels alone(0.764 and 0.769)(all P<0.05).Conclusions Reduced serum CTRP3 and CXCL14 levels are closely associated with postopera-tive recurrence in EM patients, and the combination of the two is of high value in predicting postoperative recurrence in EM patients.
