Intervention effect of cognitive behavior therapy on negative emotion and relapse tendency of methamphetamine addicts

Abstract:Objective To observe the intervention effect of cognitive behavior therapy on the negative emotion and re -lapse tendency of methamphetamine addicts .Methods Totally 306 methamphetamine addicts were randomly divided into two groups:the experimental group and the control group , 153 patients in each group .The cognitive behavior therapy and routine drug education were used in the experimental group .However, only routine drug education was used in the control group.The mood state and the relapse tendency of the two groups before and after 1-month intervention were evaluated with the mood state scale and the self-designed questionnaire .Results Compared with the control group , the scores of tension , depression , fatigue and confusion of emotional state scale were lower , and the vigor dimension score was higher in the ex-perimental group, and there was statistical significance difference between these two groups (all P<0.05).Compared with the control group , the thoughts of rehabilitation , the physical and mental status , social support scores and the total average score were lower in the experimental group , and there was statistical significance difference between these two groups ( all P<0.05).Conclusion The cognitive behavior therapy can improve the emotional state and correct the relapse tendency for the methamphetamine addicts .
