Abstract:Objective To study the effect of the saponins on the HCCLM 3 and MHCC97-H proliferation of liver canc-er metastatic cells .Methods HCCLM3 and MHCC97-H of high metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma cell lines were used as the study object to detect the impact of concentrations of the saponins on the growth of liver cancer cells by MTT and a phase-contrast microscope was used to observe the impact of the saponins on hepatoma cell morphology .Results The cell survival rate of the saponins treatment group reduced compared with that of the control group .This effect becomes more ob-vious with the increasing concentration of the drug .The cell density reduced after the treatment of the saponins through the observation under the Phase-contrast microscope .Conclusion The saponins has an inhabitation effect on the growth of HCCLM3 cells and MHCC97-H cells.
