Changes of T lymphocyte subsets of patients with gastric cancer in the early stage of adjuvant chemotherapy using XELOX

Abstract：Objective To analyse the changes of T lymphocyte subsets of patients with gastric cancer in the early stage of adjuvant chemotherapy using XELOX .Methods Sixty patients with gastric cancer after radical resection as adju-vant chemotherapy group were treated with XELOX , and peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets were detected before and af-ter chemotherapy respectively .Forty healthy subjects were selected as control group .Results The levels of CD3+and CD4+cells in the adjuvant chemotherapy group before chemotherapy were lower than that in the control group (all P<0.05).Af-ter chemotherapy, in the adjuvant chemotherapy group, the levels of CD3+and CD4+increased than before(all P<0.05). After chemotherapy, the levels of CD3+and CD4+cells had increased than those before chemotherapy (all P<0.05).Con-clusions In the early stage of adjuvant chemotherapy with XELOX , the levels of CD3+and CD4+are increasing in patients with gastric cancer , which shows that the immune function has improved than before chemotherapy .
