Abstract:Objective To observe the plasma amyloidosis degree , serum total cholesterol level and whole blood vis-cosity changes in patients with Alzheimer's disease ( AD) , and to analyze their correlations .Methods Thirty cases of AD patients (observation group) and 30 cases of healthy controls (control group) were selected. The plasma amyloid fibril flu-orescence intensity was detected by FL F-2500 fluorospectro photometer , then we calculated the amyloid fibril levels;LBY-N6A rheology instrument was used to examine the hemorrheological parameters;and TBA-120FR automatic biochemical an-alyzer was used to test the blood lipid level .Multivariate linear regression analysis was used to analyze the relationships a-mong plasma amyloidosis degree , whole blood viscosity ( high shear part ) and serum total cholesterol .Results In the ob-servation group and control group , the plasma amyloid fibril levels were (16.63 ±5.67) and (12.83 ±0.27) U/mL, re-spectively;the whole blood viscosity (high) were (4.16 ±0.54) and (3.74 ±0.15) mPa· s, respectively;and the total cholesterol levels were (4.71 ±1.24) and (3.95 ±0.22) mmol/L, respectively (all P<0.05).The multivariate linear regression analysis showed whole blood viscosity ( high shear part ) was positively correlated with plasma amyloidosis degree and serum total cholesterol level (r=0.598, 0.664;all P<0.05).Conclusion Plasma amyloidosis degree, serum total cholesterol level and whole blood viscosity increase in AD patients , and the first two are positively correlated with the latter one.
