Abstract:Objective To investigate the uptake characteristics of 18 F-FDG in primary gastric lymphoma ( PGL) , and to investigate the diagnostic value of 18F-FDG positron emission tomography-computed tomography (PET-CT) imaging. Methods We studied the clinical data and 18F-FDG PET-CT imaging of 53 cases of patient with PGL (PGL group). The relationship between the SUVmax value and the relevant clinical indexes was analyzed .PET-CT imaging results were col-lected from 50 cases of gastric cancer ( gastric cancer group ) and 45 cases of normal physical examination ( control group ) , and then the comparative analysis of PET-CT imaging features of PGL was conducted .Results The SUVmax of gastric cancer group and control group was significantly different as compared with that of PGL group (all P<0.05);and the SU-Vmax of mucosa associated gastric lymphoma group and gastric cancer group was significantly different as compared with that of the aggressive primary gastric lymphoma (all P<0.05).The SUVmax of PGL in different pathologic classification and clinical stage groups was significantly different; D-dimer level and SUVmax showed a good correlation ( r=0.831, P<0.01).Conclusion The patients clinically diagnosed or suspected with PGL should receive PET-CT imaging com-bined with relevant clinical index detection in time , which is important in the differential diagnosis , clinical stages and ther-apy of primary gastric lymphoma .
