Brainstem auditory evoked potential of patients with tourette syndrome
Abstract：To observe the changes of brainstem auditory evoked potential（BAEP）．40 patients with Tourette′s syndrome（TS） and 32 normal children were studied in BAEP．The results showed that Ⅰ～Ⅲ，Ⅰ～Ⅴ waves interpeak latencies were significantly pronlonged（P＜0．05），and 10 cases（25％） showed abnormal BAEP．Those suggest that there are mild to moderate damages to brainstem，but the physique development is not affected．
