Clinical observation of semiconductor laser with gluma desensitizer on severe dentin hypersensitivity
Abstract：To evaluate the effect of semiconductor laser with gluma desensitizer on treating severe hypersensitivity dentine，the teeth of the same patient having dentine hypersensitivity were randomly divided into three groups，and treated with semiconductor laser，gluma，semiconductor laser with gluma respectively，and observed their clinical effects respectively. Results showed that the simultaneous and one-month-after cure rate of three groups was respectively 71.43％ and 66.67％，72％ and 66％，90％ and 90％.The cure rate of semiconductor laser with gluma group was significantly higher than that of semiconductor laser group or gluma group alone.This suggests that semiconductor laser with gluma desensitizer is an effective and convenient technique for treating severe hypersensitive dentine.
