The cffective evaluation of the hyperthermia iodized oil suspension of hepatic artcry thermochemoembolization in the treament of middle and late stage hepatic carcinoma
Abstract：46 cases with hepatic carcinoma in the m idd le and late stagewere treated with hepa tic artery embolization using heated iod ized oil-CDDP-suspension（110～120℃）and c ompared with that of using no-heated iod ized oil-suspension.The results showed t hat the hyperthermia iodized oil emboliz ed the hepatic arteries and the small br anches of portal veins around the tumors as well.The rate of tumor regression an d survival of the patients were increase d compared with no-heated iodized oil-su spension group.These suggested that ther mochemoenb-olization with hyperthermia io dized oil-CDDP-suspension was a safe easy and useful palliating measure for treat ment of hepatic carcinoma in the middle and late stage.
