Detection and siguificance of serum IL-12 and IgE in patients with asthma in attack
Abstract:To evaluate the relationship and the clinical significancebetween the serum IL-12 and IgE in the patients with asthma in attack.Sandwich ELISA was used to detect the IL-12 and IgE level in the sera of 27 cases of patients with athma in attack.SPSS statical software was used to analysis the reletive of IL-12 and IgE.Results showed that the serum IL-12 in 27 cases of patients with asthma in attack was 71.70±81.43pg/ml,it decresed significantly comparing with the health voluteer donor, which is 196.32±94.33pg/ml.To the contrast, serum IgE in patients was 2078.63±611.79pg/ml,which significantly increaed comparing with the normal(327.16±125.28pg/ml).Linear regression showed that the decrease of IL-12 relate to the increase of IgE(R=-0.667).The results suggest that insufficient production of IL-12 imped the differenciation of Th1.Biased Th2 response may be dominat in the immune response of the asthma in attack.
