Investigation on the incidence and the risk factors of hypoxemia following coronary artery bypass grafting
Abstract:We investigated 133 patients undergoing CABG and got theincidence of postoperative hypoxemia. The relative factors were tested through descriptive analysis and logistic regression and we got the relative risk factors and the most significant risk factor. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS statistical software. Among the 133 patients investigated, 25 patients suffered from the postoperative hypoxemia and the incidence was 18.80%. The patients with mild-to-moderate and severe hypoxemia were 15 and 10 respectively and the incidence was 11.28% and 7.52% respectively. The relative risk factors was the period of cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB)and that of operation, age, total liquid volume and cardiac aneurysm. Among them, period of CPB was the most significant factor.
