Abstract:In order to understand the current status of pesticide residues in greenhouse vegetables in Shandong Province,23 pesticides in 231 vegetable samples from major vegetable producing areas in Shandong Province in 2023 were quantitatively analyzed, and the dietary exposure risk of pesticide residues was compre-hensively evaluated using the index of food safety(I)method and the risk coefficient(R)method. The results showed that all the 23 pesticides were detected with the highest detection rate of procymidone(11.26%)and the highest exceedance rate of carbofuran(2.16%).There were 82 vegetable samples detected at least one pesticide residue which occupied as 35.49%,and the pesticide residue of 7 samples exceeded the maximum residue limits which occupied as 3.03%.The most pesticide species were found in cucumber(16 species),and the highest over-limit rate was found in celery and Chinese cabbage. The I assessment results showed that the risk of omethoate and phorate was unacceptable, the R value showed that carbofuran was a high-risk pesti-cide,and the combination of the two risk evaluation methods indicated that the above three pesticides needed to be strengthened for monitoring. In conclusion, the overall risk of vegetable quality safety in Shandong Prov-ince was in the acceptable range, but there were banned and high-risk pesticide use,so the supervision of pesticide residues needed to be further strengthened.
