Abstract:In order to explore the effects of calcium peroxide on growth and development of grape seed-lings and soil characteristics, pot experiment was conducted with one-year-old seedlings of Sumer Black grape as test materials.Three treatments with different dosages of calcium peroxide(0,0.6 and 0.8 g·kg-1)were set and marked as CK,T1 and T2.Their effects on seedling growth, photosynthetic characteristics, soil nutrients contents and soil enzymes activities were studied. The results showed that the treatments of calcium peroxide significantly increased the biomass, leaf area and chlorophyll content of grape seedlings, significantly in-creased leaf net photosynthetic rate(except for T1 treatment),stomatal conductance and transpiration rate of the seedlings, among which, the net photosynthetic rate of T1 and T2 treatments increased by 5.34%and 28.86%respectively compared with CK.The treatments of calcium peroxide significantly increased the contents of soil total nitrogen, available phosphorus and available potassium by 31.54%to 105.21%compared with CK,significantly increased the activities of soil sucrase, alkaline phosphatase, urease and catalase by 10.41%to 196.12%compared with CK.In conclusion, calcium peroxide could significantly improve the photosynthetic rate of grape seedlings, soil nutrients contents and soil enzymes activities, and the effect was the best when the application dosage of calcium peroxide was 0.8 g·kg-1.
