Effect of Environmental Factors on Conidial Germination of Euonymus japonicas Powdery Mildew

Abstract:Euonymus japonicas powdery mildew has occurred seriously in Qingdao region since 2014 with the incidence rate up to 70%,which has serious impacts on landscape.Erysiphe alphitoides infecting E.japonicas in China was firstly reported in 2017.The rate of spore germination was investigated under different temperature,carbon sources and culture time.The results showed that the germination rate of E.alphitoides conidia was the highest in distilled water at 28℃ under darkness conditions for 36 hours.
