Abstract:Using Orychophragmus violaceus seeds as test materials, the effects of atmospheric and room temperature plasmas(ARTP) on the seed germination and seedling growth of Orychophragmus violaceus under different concentrations of NaCl stress were studied by adopting the paper germination method of Petri dish. The results showed that under the condition of water treatment, the aboveground and underground fresh weight of the seedlings reduced with the plasma treatments, while the root length increased but the emergence rate reduced significantly after treated for 10 minutes.Under the condition of 5 g/L NaCl treatment,ARTP treatments had no significant effect on the seed germination and seedling growth.Under the condition of 10 g/L NaCl treatment,ARTP treatments had no significant effect on the plant height, but the emergence rate decreased significantly, and the germination rate reduced but the aboveground fresh weight increased significantly after treated for 10 minutes.
