Abstract:To provide a theoretical basis for photobiological characteristics of Paris polyphylla var.yunannensis and artificial lighting, the effects of different ratios of white and orange LED light on photosynthetic characteristics and chlorophyll fluorescence parameters of P.polyphylla leaves were studied with 3-year-old seedlings as materials. The combined light source consisted of white light of 6 000 K (W) and orange light with wavelength of 620 nm(O).Under the same fixed light intensity,6 treatments including W,W∶ O of 1 ∶ 2,W∶ O of 1 ∶ 4,W∶ O of 1 ∶ 6,W∶ O of 1 ∶ 8 and O were designed. The results showed that with the increase of the proportion of orange light, the fresh plant weight and net photosynthetic rate appeared as W∶ O of 1 ∶ 2 > W∶ O of 1 ∶ 6 > W∶ O of 1 ∶ 4 > W∶ O of 1 ∶ 8 > O,and the difference between W and W∶ O of 1 ∶ 2 was not obvious;the contents of chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b and Fv'/Fm'showed downward trends, and carotenoid content increased firstly and then decreased;the change regulation of φPS Ⅱ and qP was not obvious. The dispose of orange light obviously decreased the accumulation of pigment and reduced the photosynthetic rate of plants. As a conclusion, the lighting treatment of W∶ O of 1 ∶ 2 was beneficial to the accumulation of leaf pigment and organic matter, and the increase of Fv'/Fm',φPS Ⅱ and qP of P.polyphylla.
