Effects of Top Grafting on Survival Rate and Growth of Jujube Trees with Different Ages

Abstract：'Jisi Xiaozao'and'Lejin 4'were used as experimental materials to research the effects of top grafting on survival rate and growth of jujube tress with different ages.Bark graftage was used for top grafting,and the survival rate,growth,stem diameter,plant height and crown breadth were investigated.The results showed that no significant difference was observed in survival rate between different ages of grafted ''Jisi Xiaozao'' trees.However,significant difference was found in the annual branche growth of grafted ''Jisi Xiaozao'' trees with different ages.The growth was negative correlated with the tree age.
