Effects of Intercross Stress of Drought and Salt on Contents of Osmotic Adjustment Substances in Peanut Seedlings

Abstract：In order to study the mechanism response to drought combined salt stress,the content variation of soluble sugar,proline,soluble protein and free amino acids in peanut seedlings were determined and analyzed with the cultivars Huayu 22 and Huayu 25 as materials under drought and salt stress.The results showed that the contents of soluble sugar,proline,soluble protein and free amino acids in peanut seedlings increased significantly under single salt stress,and they were much higher under the combined stress of drought and salt.So it could be concluded that drought pretreatment could improve the salt resistance of peanut seedlings.
