Introduction Experiment of Nine Mulberry Varieties in Shandong Region

Abstract：In order to enrich the planting varieties of mulberry and increase farmers' income, nine mulberry varieties were introduced from other provinces and cities and their planting experiments were carried out in Xiajin, Shandong Province.The botany characteristics, fruit characteristics and phenological period of the nine mulberry varieties were investigated during 2013-2015.And the fruit yield and quality were determined.Integrated factor analysis was carried out using fuzzy membership function.The results showed that Crabapple 2, Japanese Sweet Mulberry, Seedless Ten, Crabapple 1, Korea White Pearl and Taiwan Mulberry present much more stable characters among the nine varieties.They possessed better fruit quality, higher yield and stronger adaptability, so they had great development prospects and were suitable for planting in Shandong area.
